Chatham County is a place where Peaceful Suburbs Meet Luxury Living. Home to Jordan Lake, Carolina Tiger Rescue, several breweries, and plenty of small towns, Chatham County is an alluring region in the Triangle.
Chatham County is now The Up-and-Coming Area in the Triangle. With the completion of Hwy 64 Bypass and Interstate 540, also known as the outer belt, inching closer every day has opened this area up to a wonderful mix of a rual area and convinence.
It’s proximity to Research Triangle Park, Durham, Raleigh, RDU, all within 30 minutes, the North Carolina mountains and some of the East Coast best beaches, not to mention its beautiful scenery, Chatham County has become a popular place to live away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to everything.
New construction homes are common in Chatham County communities like Pittsboro and Siler City. From small houses to grand estate homes, you can find just about any type and size of home here. For those looking for large lots and more land you can easily find lots from 1 acre and up in this area.
Residents throughout the Triangle are excited about the neighborhood Chatham Park being developed on 7000 acres in Chatham County! One could say that in the next 20 – 30 years Chatham could be the 4th leg or the quad that changes the triangle the quadrangle. Chatham Park is the largest development in NC and one of the largest and most progressive being developed on the east coast. This is exciting because this neighborhood will give residents a place to live work and play all in one place. It will also bring new innovative and eco friendly processes and programs to this growing area while protecting its beauty and natural resources for the generations to come.
Jordan Lake is one of Chatham County’s main attractions and the Triangle’s favorite destination for fishing, hiking, swimming, and camping.
This 14,000-acre reservoir is popular year-round and features scenic picnic spots, over 1,000 campsites, miles and miles of shoreline, and even a bald eagle observation platform. Whether you’re craving the excitement of water sports like tubing or a laid-back stroll through nature, you’re just a few minutes from your favorite lake activities when you live in Chatham County.
